Munich / Paris/ New York, 17 November 2020 – Günther H. Oettinger will join international communications consultancy Kekst CNC’s Global Advisory Board on January 1, 2021. Following his time as Prime Minister of Baden-Württemberg, Oettinger was a member of the EU Commission from 2010 until 2019, where he was European Commissioner first for Energy, then for Digital Economy and Society and lastly for Budget and Human Resources. He can look back on a successful, decades-long career in national and international politics. In his capacity as a member of the international Advisory Board, he is available to the entire Kekst CNC team as a sparring partner and will apply his great expertise to advise clients.
The Global Advisory Board of Kekst CNC, a subsidiary of Publicis Groupe S.A., is chaired by Maurice Lévy. Lévy is Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Publicis Groupe, which he built up over decades into one of the world's leading communications companies. Other members of the board include former Swedish Prime Minister Göran Persson, Chairman of the Munich Security Conference, Ambassador Wolfgang Ischinger, Nuala O'Connor, Senior Vice President and Chief Council of Digital Citizenship at Walmart and former President of the Center for Democracy and Technology, and Matthew Westerman, formerly in senior positions at investment banks Goldman Sachs, HSBC and Rothschild.
Becoming a member of this international advisory board gives me the opportunity to pass on my experience and knowledge to consultants and clients. At the same time, it gives me deep and up-to-date insights into the global challenges of an international communications consultancy. I am looking forward to a lively exchange of ideas.
