Since 2010, she has been providing strategic counsel in the field of financial communications supporting numerous cross-border M&A deals including shareholder activism defense.
She has advised senior executives of global companies who need to make critical decisions in cross-cultural and complex business situations including Japanese life insurer Meiji Yasuda’s acquisition of StanCorp, German glass manufacturer SCHOTT’s sale of SCHOTT MORITEX to Chinese state-owned investment firm CITIC Capital and U.S. PE firm TPG’s acquisition of Avon Products in Japan.
Prior to Kekst CNC, she was engaged in corporate communications for several Fortune 500 companies including FedEx and McDonalds in Japan, where she also gained in-depth experience in reputation management, CEO positioning, litigation communications and crisis management.
She holds a BA in Communications from Tokyo Women’s Christian University and is currently studying for an Executive MBA at Frankfurt School of Finance and Management.
