He has developed specific expertise in the financial services industry and has helped companies tackle a wide range of matters, including M&A, IPOs, restructurings, crises, complex disclosures, proxy contests, and litigation.
Prior to joining Kekst CNC, Peter worked at LeBoeuf, Lamb, Greene and MacRae LLP, providing litigation and research support as part of a legal team defending a multinational bank against terrorism-related civil liability claims advanced in U.S. federal courts under the Alien Tort Statute.
Peter holds an A.B. in Politics from Princeton University and an MPA from the Columbia University School of International and Public Affairs.

Corporate Restructuring and Insolvency
- Delivered intensive communications support in some of the most significant Chapter 11 restructurings of the last decade, including American Airlines, Kodak, RadioShack and Energy Future Holdings, among many others.
- Represented a number of targets and acquirers in a series of transactions that have taken place among Bermuda-based reinsurance companies since 2009, including the Max Capital / IPC / Validus contest; the Max Capital / Harbor Point merger of equals; the acquisition of Alterra Capital by Markel; the Endurance / Aspen contest; the acquisition of Montpelier Re by Endurance; the AXIS Capital / PartnerRe / Exor contest; and the acquisition of Platinum Underwriters by RenaissanceRe.
Strategic Counsel and Financial Communications
- Provides ongoing investor relations and public relations support for RenaissanceRe, a Bermuda-based reinsurance company with a $5 billion market capitalization.
- Supports communications efforts of a number of leading Private Equity and hedge fund firms, including previously serving as communications advisor for a leading global growth equity firm with more than $18 billion in assets under management.
