Maddie is an Associate in the New York office of Kekst CNC. She supports publicly traded and privately held companies on complex and high-profile corporate, financial, and strategic communications matters. In addition to working with clients across industries in the context of ongoing corporate positioning and investor relations initiatives, she has particular experience in complex transactions (M&A, IPOs, spinoffs), shareholder activism & corporate governance, and specialized investor relations.
At the core of Maddie’s work is reputation management, which often involves counseling clients and developing and implementing communications strategies during periods of transformation. She works closely with clients’ legal and financial advisors to help companies prepare for and effectively navigate shareholder engagement, behind-the-scenes agitation, and proxy contests. She also supports the development of strategic communications plans and execution of investor relations activities around quarterly reporting and financial disclosures, investor days, and management succession and leadership changes.
Prior to joining Kekst CNC, Maddie was an Investment Banking Summer Analyst at J.P. Morgan, where she supported the Public Finance team in developing capital market and bank lending solutions for municipalities, state governments, and nonprofit clients in the healthcare industry.
Maddie holds an A.B. in English with a secondary concentration in Economics, cum laude in field, from Harvard University.
