She is also experienced in public affairs and digital communications.
Since joining the firm, firstly as an intern in January 2019 and then as an Associate six months later, Marie has gained experience from a number of projects with a focus on media relations, corporate communications, crisis and issues management.
Prior to joining Kekst CNC, Marie gained public affairs and digital communications experience, interning at the United Nations Development Programme in Georgia, where she supported the senior management team in developing SDGs, and launched the organization’s social media platform.
Marie holds a double bachelor’s degree in Communications and Media Studies (BA) and Psychology (BA) from Concordia University based in Montreal, Canada.
Next to her mother tongue, French, she is fluent in written and spoken English, and can speak conversational Spanish and Mandarin.

What advice do you have for aspiring communications professionals?
Ask questions and be curious. No one has the answers to everything so don’t let the fear of seeming ridiculous keep you from gaining knowledge. If anything, you will both gain something out of it!
What are you passionate about?
Understanding why someone is the way they are and what led them to that position is incredibly intriguing. Everyone follows a similar journey but with completely different motives… why? Trying to figure that puzzle out always leads to more questions… it’s never ending.
What careers advice would you give to your younger self?
Getting to the place where you want to be is never a straight line; there will be obstacles along the way that will challenge your decisions. Sometimes being five steps ahead isn’t always an advantage, take a breath and see what comes your way day-by-day.

What is the most exciting city you’ve ever been to?
10 years ago: Hong Kong. Now? Hong Kong. Need I say more?
