Peter is a Swedish national, with more than 20 years’ experience as a strategic advisor to corporate and organizational management groups.
He specializes in strategic counsel and has extensive international reputation management expertise, leading complex corporate communication projects, risk and issues management, crisis communication and public affairs.
Much of his work has been towards highly regulated industries that depend on public trust and opinion - in particular energy, the automotive industry, defense and security, as well as for organizations and interest groups. Recently he has gained significant experience within technology and the digital sector. Peter has worked to deliver impactful change, build trust, and develop new strategies and purpose in order to support commercial initiatives.
Prior to joining Kekst CNC, Peter served as Chairman for MSL Europe, Middle East and Africa; and previously as CEO for JKL Group in the Nordics, and MD for JKL Copenhagen in Denmark. Peter has also spent 11 years in Brussels as a public affairs advisor.
Over the years Peter has gained experience as an entrepreneur, creating consultancy firms in Denmark and Brussels as well as participating as an independent investor in several startups.
Peter has advanced studies in Financial Economics from School of Business, Economics and Law at University of Gothenburg as well as studies in Politics and International relations from University of Gothenburg and Bristol University.

Describe your typical day.
Very few days are the same. One of the advantages (and also challenges) of being a consultant is the constant change – new mandates, new clients, new agenda, new priorities, new opportunities etc.

What are the major industry challenges in the next 3 to 5 years?
To be relevant to our clients – will require even more knowledge, expertise and fact based insight as well as the ability to tailor our approach and offer creative solutions.
What’s the most important thing you’ve learnt from a client?
What has been the biggest change in the industry since you started working?
Besides digitalization, social media and engagement, the overall media revolution etc!? In other words - a lot has changed! One change, seen over time, has been the shift of focus on communication as such, as an example the ability to communicate your vision, value and plan.
