日本では、2021年と同様に2022年も堂々の第１位を獲得し、M&AのPRアドバイザーとしてトップの地位をさらに強固なものにすることができました。当社の案件数は計20件となり、MergermarketのJapanリーグテーブルで2位～6位となった5社の案件総数を上回る結果となりました。また、当社がPRアドバイザーを務め、取引額が公表された案件の総額は、前年比で150％以上増加し、53億米ドルとなりました。

Kekst CNC Tops Mergermarket Japan PR Advisor League Table by Wide Margin in 2022
30 January 2023, Tokyo – For corporations around the world, 2022 continued to be a year of both changes and challenges. While the number of M&A deals in this environment declined globally, the number of deals involving Japanese companies rose to a record high of 4,304 according to the latest Recof figures.
Kekst CNC’s commitment to offering our clients both single market and cross-border deal support has been unwavering. We advised on a total of 246 deals globally, ranking No. 2 by deal number in the Mergermarket global league table for PR advisors (and No. 4 by a total deal value of USD 166 billion).
In Japan, we succeeded in further solidifying our position as the undisputed No. 1 M&A PR advisor. Just as in 2021, Kekst CNC came in as the clear No. 1 in 2022. In total, we advised on 20 M&A deals in Japan, more than the next five PR firms in the Mergermarket rankings combined. The total value of deals Kekst CNC advised and for which the value was publicly disclosed rose by more than 150% year-on-year to a total of USD 5.3 billion.
