【新型コロナウイルスに関する国際世論調査】
世界規模でサービスを提供している戦略的PRコンサルティング会社Kekst CNC（ケクストCNC） は、日本、アメリカ、イギリス、ドイツ、スウェーデン、フランスの各1,000人、合計6,000人を対象に、6回目となる新型コロナウイルスに関する国際世論調査を実施しました（調査期間：2020年11月20日～12月1日）。
日本の主な調査結果：
- 日本に対する高い評価：日本は、ドイツ、韓国とともに、コロナ危機対応において世界的ベスト3の評価を受けています。しかし、日本の国民自身による評価は16カ国中10位にとどまっており、他の多くの項目でも見られるように、批判的で悲観的な見方をしています。
- 感染拡大抑制と経済保護：コロナウイルスの感染拡散を抑制するよりも経済を優先させることを望んでいる日本人はわずか19％で、これは全調査対象国の中で最も低い数値でした。また、日本では直近の数ヶ月間と比較しても、低い数値となりました。
- 予想される期間：他の調査国とは異なり、日本人は、新型コロナが生活に影響を与える期間が以前より短くなるとは考えていないことが分かりました。80％以上の回答者が、少なくともあと1年の影響の長期化を予想しています。
- 雇用者の対応への不満：他5国の従業員は、ポジティブな職場環境の構築、包摂的な雰囲気、経済的支援、メンタルヘルスの問題への支援など、様々な面において雇用主にプラスの評価を与えていますが、日本の雇用主は最大マイナス23と非常に厳しい評価を受けています。
- 従業員の優先順位： 日本人の最大の関心事は給与水準を維持することです。42％の回答者が、これを最優先事項と考えており、世界平均と比較して16ポイントも高くなっています。
- ワクチンに対する懐疑論： 新型コロナのワクチンは2021年内に入手可能であり、公平に配布されると考える日本人は3分の1にとどまりました。これは他5か国よりもはるかに低い結果となりました。また、ワクチンが接種可能になったら絶対に受けると回答した人は50％にとどまり、フランスを除くと他のどの国よりも低いことが分かりました。

Findings from the 6th edition of the international tracking survey by Kekst CNC
Kekst CNC conducted its 6th COVID-19 international tracking survey.
Japan Key Findings
- Strong country rating for Japan: Together with Germany and South Korea, Japan is globally rated among the top 3 best performing countries during the corona crisis. Japanese themselves however only rank their country No. 10 out of 16 countries, a critical and pessimistic view that shows in many other categories.
- Limit the spread vs. Protecting the economy: Only 19% of Japanese want their government to prioritize the economy over limiting the COVID-19 spread, the lowest figure among all countries and also lower than in the months before in Japan except for May.
- Expected duration: Different from all other countries, a decline in how long the virus will impact life, does not take place in Japan. There is no visible vaccine optimism yet. Record figures of more than 80% expect a prolonged duration of at least another year.
- Dissatisfaction with employer performance: While employees in all other countries give their employers positive net ratings for a number of measures from creating a positive working environment, an inclusive feel, to providing financial support and help with mental health issues, Japanese employers are rated very critically with negative net rankings as low as minus 23.
- Employee priorities: The biggest concern of Japanese employees is to keep their pay levels. 42% rated this as their top priority, which is 16 percentage points higher than on a global average for any single priority.
- Skepticism regarding vaccine: Only one third of Japanese think that a vaccine for COVID-19 will be available within 2021 and that it will be distributed fairly – far lower figures than anywhere else. At the same time, only 50% replied they would definitely / likely take a vaccine if it became available – less than anywhere else but France.
