Adam Waters

Senior Consultant
Adam advises clients on EU public affairs, specializing in technology.

With experience in both the European Parliament and Brussels- and London-based consultancies, Adam has advised policymakers and tech companies on privacy, data and cloud.

With experience in both the European Parliament and Brussels- and London-based consultancies, Adam has advised policymakers and tech companies on privacy, data and cloud.

Prior to joining Kekst CNC, he was an Associate Director at a communications and public affairs agency in Brussels. He advised EU and U.S. technology clients on their public affairs strategies, covering a range of digital policy issues including privacy, data, cloud, AI, cybersecurity and intermediary liability.

Adam was also a Policy Adviser in the European Parliament for the European Conservatives and Reformists (ECR) Group, which included the UK Conservative Party. He advised on the Committee on Civil Liberties and Justice and Home Affairs (LIBE), focusing on data protection. He was also previously a Parliamentary Assistant to a Conservative Member of the European Parliament (MEP).

A British and Irish dual national, Adam has experience in UK public affairs through positions at a London-based consultancy and a trade association, where he advised on the gig economy. He holds a BA in Politics from the University of Nottingham and is currently studying an Executive Master in Law and AI at the Brussels School of Competition, which explores the intersection of AI and various policy fields such as privacy, cybersecurity and competition.
