From 1995 to 2002 Christoph held the position of Senior Vice President and Head of Communications at Daimler-Benz/ DaimlerChrysler. Between 1987 and 1995 he was responsible for Public Affairs and communications and served as General Legal Counsel for Reemtsma Cigarettenfabrik, the world’s fifth largest cigarette manufacturer.
Christoph studied law in Munich, Geneva and Hamburg. In 1988, he received his doctorate in law for his thesis on election campaign law.
Christoph is an alumnus of INSEAD (IEP 1990) and Harvard Business School (OPM 43).
