Before returning to Kekst CNC as a Partner, he was Member of the UniCredit Executive Management Board responsible for the group's communications in all its markets. This included aligning key stakeholders on strategy and values; promoting the Group´s identity; managing all available internal and external communication channels to engage colleagues and clients; and managing a team of around 200 people across the Group’s 13 core markets operating in ten languages.
Max worked on various key mandates during his previous tenure at Kekst CNC. This included acting as government spokesperson in the implementation of a new tax cooperation policy framework for the Principality of Liechtenstein, as well as acting as Director of Communications of the Istituto per le Opere di Religione IOR (Vatican Bank) in its reorganization under Pope Francis.
He has also worked at Salomon Smith Barney (Citigroup) in its London equity capital markets division.
Max Hohenberg has a master’s degree from the London School of Economics. He is fluent in German, English, Italian, and French.
