Andy has more than 25 years of experience in providing strategic communications counsel to companies, institutions, and individuals across the United States, South Asia, and the Middle East.

He specializes in corporate communications, reputation management, and leading large, complex projects that cut across multiple stakeholder groups.

Andy has designed and implemented global communications strategies that include traditional and social media; internal and external communications; issues management; and transaction support.  Andy also has built a specific expertise in executive thought leadership and corporate positioning, where he helps his clients craft clear and compelling narratives that are authentic and defendable in today’s interconnected operating environment.

Given this work, his counsel often sits at the intersection of communications and behavior, ensuring clients are seen as “walking the talk” with their multiple stakeholder communities. He also has deep experience assisting leading international brands and government institutions translate their strategies to North American markets.   

Prior to joining Kekst CNC, Andy spent more than 12 years at Teneo, where he was part of the firm’s founding team and was responsible for advising a variety of clients on corporate communications and reputation management matters on a global basis, including C-suite level, internal, and external communications. His client mix was intentionally varied, spanning multiple industries such as professional services organizations, logistics leaders, technology and telecom companies, universities and government institutions, leaders in the energy and health sciences sectors, sports apparel brands, and many more.

Andy was also National Director of the Corporate Communications Practice for the business communications consultancy FTI Consulting (previously Financial Dynamics). In that role he was responsible for ensuring excellence in delivery of the firm’s many corporate communications offerings to top global clients. Another facet of Andy’s responsibilities was leading the internal communications function for FTI Consulting, which encompassed regular communications to the company’s 3,000 employees around the globe. Prior to FTI Consulting, Andy was Vice President of the Corporate Technology Practice for GCI Group, the public relations arm of Grey Advertising Worldwide.

Andy has a B.A. in public relations from C.W. Post University. He also comes from a military background, having served in the U.S. Navy on board the U.S.S. Dwight D. Eisenhower in support of Operation Desert Storm.
