Ashe is a Partner in the New York office of Kekst CNC. He counsels clients through a range of complex engagements, with a particular focus on protecting reputations, advancing business goals, and navigating change. His approach is uniquely collaborative and practical – guided by two decades working in media and communications.

Ashe has advised clients across a range of industries, including energy, technology, healthcare, government/military, media, and financial services. Beyond keen judgment and his own experience, Ashe is also uniquely adept at anchoring his counsel in academic research, media analysis, and related data – an approach that helps ensure clients move forward with clear direction and purpose when the value of doing so is at a premium. In addition to his corporate reputation practice, Ashe has advised clients through a range of high stakes special situations such as M&A, IPOs, shareholder activism, and restructurings.

Ashe’s nuanced understanding of the US and global media landscape enables him to prepare and train clients across industries for high-profile media engagements. He brings a "fundamentals first" approach to this work that resonates with clients, instills confidence and maximizes the impact of media engagements. It is an approach informed by his time in broadcast journalism, first as a reporter and then in production roles for Bloomberg Television and for Shepherd Smith Reporting at the Fox News Channel. Ashe earned an Emmy-award nomination earlier in his career for local breaking news reporting.

Prior to his journalism career, Ashe worked in the administration of Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg, where he helped coordinate communications strategies at the NYC Department of Parks & Recreation.

Ashe holds a B.A. in Political Science from Trinity College in Hartford, CT, and an M.S. from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
