Pål Jebsen

Senior Advisor
Pål is a veteran of Public Relations and Public Affairs consulting in the Nordics, with more than 40 years’ consulting experience.

He specializes in corporate positioning, crisis management and crisis communications and brand management communication.

Pål is a Senior Advisor in Kekst CNC’s Stockholm office. He has advised clients on the development and execution of communications strategies in M&A, bankruptcies, activism, crisis communications and litigation.

Over his career, Pål has become a trusted advisor to a wide range of companies, from large conglomerates to start-ups, across a variety of sectors. He worked intensively with well-known household brands like McDonalds, Colgate-Palmolive and Coca-Cola. Pål leverages strong relationships across constituencies to advise clients in situations that require intense and complex decision making.

Pål began his communications career as one of the founders of Burson-Marsteller in Oslo, Norway. He later transferred to Sweden in 1984 to become General Manager and establish operations there. Pål spent a total of 28 years at Burson-Marsteller, holding different roles such as General Manager, Nordic Head and Global Client Leader.

He joined legacy JKL Group in 2006 as Partner and Chairman of MSL Stockholm and became a part time advisor in 2016. Today, Pål also works as General Manager for Norsk-Svenska Handelskammaren (Norwegian-Swedish Chamber of Commerce) and holds other board engagements in private enterprises.

Pål studied at the Bedriftsökonomisk Institut in Oslo and The Royal Norwegian Navy.

Pål has a long history of working in different European countries, with multi-country communications programs. He had a parallel reservist career as Commander Senior Grade (R) in the Norwegian Navy, which was attached to the NATO Information Corps, until 1989.

Pål also worked with long time board engagements at Friends (anti bullying organization targeting school children) and the Ronald McDonald House Charities, among others.
