He is a specialist in corporate reputation, spanning crisis and internal communications and sustainability. Richard also has significant experience in financial communications.
Richard has worked across a breadth of industries, from chemicals, transport and food through to energy and professional services. He has advised on a number of large-scale transactions, internal communications projects and infrastructure mandates. In 2018, Richard worked for Kekst CNC in Munich.
Richard read Modern Medieval Languages at the University of Cambridge, including a year at L’Université des Antilles in Martinique. He also has a diploma from the Chartered Institute of Public Relations. He speaks English, German and French and basic Russian.

What advice do you have for aspiring communications professionals?
Fine-tune laser-sharp concentration skills. Everything about modern life is designed to rob us of our concentration but it’s a core requirement for everything we do.
Who or what has been the biggest influence on your career?
My very first boss in PR. She taught me to ask lots of questions and to try to take my time more.
What’s the most important thing you’ve learnt from a client?
Don’t just know what you want to say and achieve. Understand why you want it.
What is the most exciting city you’ve ever been to?
Papeete. It’s bustling and great for people-watching and it’s a stone's throw to some of the prettiest places on earth.
