Ryo began his career as a reporter at NHK, Japan’s public broadcaster, before moving into communications consulting, where he advised a wide range of Japanese and global companies, as well as public sector organizations. His experience also includes an extended assignment with Japan’s Financial Services Agency, giving him first-hand insight into the intersection of business, government and media.
