Kekst CNC Announces Partner and Director Promotions for 2022

Berlin/London/Paris, 28 March 2022 – Kekst CNC, the global strategic communications consultancy, today announced its Partner and Director promotions in Europe, which emphasize the breadth of senior talent at the firm. Torben Gosau, based in Berlin, is its newest Partner, while Paris’s Camille Apelbaum and London’s Dominic Reynolds, Katherine Fennell, and Neil Maitland join its global management team as Directors. Their expertise spans public affairs, financial communications, crisis communications, and leadership communications among other relevant offerings, helping to guide clients through mission critical communications challenges and opportunities.

Bernhard Meising, Co-Chief Executive Officer, said:

“Kekst CNC invests a lot in the development of its talents. It always makes me proud to see when we can promote and develop talent from our own ranks all the way to the Partner level. This large number of promotions demonstrates our commitment to investing in the next generation of leaders across the firm, recognising their client successes, distinctive expertise, and strong commitment to our values and ways of working.”

Torben Gosau – Berlin. Torben is a Kekst CNC veteran, having joined the team 16 years ago. He works across various areas of expertise, including public affairs, transformation and change, restructuring, crisis, and M&A, and has an impressive commercial track record. Torben has been successfully managing Kekst CNC’s Berlin office for many years, overseeing a near-doubling of the team and a significant expansion of focus from public affairs to its ever-growing advisory work for fast-scaling companies in Germany’s and Europe’s booming start-up and tech scene.

Camille Apelbaum – Paris. Camille has almost a decade of experience counselling CEOs and ExComs on their communications strategy, and dealing with multiple stakeholders on strategic mandates that include corporate communications, litigation, issues management, and crisis. Camille joined Kekst CNC in Paris in 2021, and since arriving has successfully led the growth of one of its flagship clients in Paris. She has also been responsible for helping to define and build the strategic direction of the Paris office and navigating the market’s opportunities.

Dominic Reynolds – London. In his career as a TV journalist, Dominic spent 12 years at Sky News, CNN, and at ITN’s 5 News, reporting across the world and interviewing politicians and business leaders. Since joining Kekst CNC, Dominic has expanded its approach to media training; developed a new leadership communication offering focused on agile working; and has combined experience of both newsroom and boardroom to advise clients on how to build trust with audiences. He works on strategic narrative development, media positioning, content creation, and presentation training.

Katherine Fennell – London. Katherine specializes in financial communications. She has advised numerous high-profile clients on capital market communications, with a particular focus on financial reporting and IPOs. Katherine has extensive experience in investor relations best practice and special situations, including corporate governance, shareholder targeting, and activism. Since joining Kekst CNC in 2016, Katherine has worked on numerous IPOs, IR mandates, defence cases, and reputational/crisis events.

Neil Maitland – London. Neil specializes in corporate and financial communications and has advised mostly international companies across a range of sectors on long-term reputation-building, investor relations, internal communications, and special situations.
