Stefan Nerpin Joins Kekst CNC as Director in Stockholm

Stockholm, 19 August 2021 - Kekst CNC, a leading global strategic communications firm, announced today that Stefan Nerpin has joined its Stockholm team from Volvo Group, where he was Senior Vice President Global Marketing, Communications & Public Affairs for the Volvo Buses business unit. Stefan’s appointment is one of several important new recruitments for Kekst CNC in Sweden since it officially changed its name from JKL at the beginning of 2021.

Helena Norrman, Partner and Managing Director of Kekst CNC Sweden says:

"Stefan Nerpin has uniquely extensive international business and communications management experience from different industries, where he has led several global brand transfers, acquisitions, innovation initiatives and internal change processes. He is used to working with management groups in complex situations where communication plays a crucial role, which is where he will continue to strengthen our team in Stockholm."

Prior to Volvo Group, Stefan was Group Chief Communications Officer for DNV (Det Norske Veritas), located at the Group’s headquarters in Oslo, Norway. He was also previously global marketing manager for energy group Vattenfall and SEB respectively, in Stockholm, and brand and change communications manager for transport group TNT in Amsterdam. Stefan has a Master of Business Administration from Lund University and has also been a consultant at Burson-Marsteller and Nielsen.

Helena Norrman continues,

"Stefan’s appointment means that Kekst CNC can add another piece of the puzzle in our unique business-critical expertise for our customers, both in Sweden and through our international office network. This is exactly the idea of Kekst CNC’s global offering – strong local roots help international companies grow, implement change or protect values in a global market. We now have several consultants with operational management experience from communications departments in globally operating Swedish companies."

Stefan Nerpin says,

"I have one foot in both marketing and corporate communications, two disciplines that today intertwine. The planned campaign methods of marketing are part of corporate communications’ everyday life, and marketing communication now uses the news desk’s way of thinking. This applies to short-term initiatives, but also to long-term strategic issues such as innovation and digitalisation, climate and sustainability, where there is an urgency with stakeholders for more concretized and frequent communication. In collaboration with my new colleagues, I look forward to contributing with effective advice to further aid Kekst CNC’s global clients."
