Carolin is a reputation specialist with extensive experience advising corporations on positioning, issues preparedness and crisis management.

Carolin has held advisory and in-house roles in the pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on corporate positioning, thought leadership and issues management.

She has led communications strategies for publicly traded, privately held and early-stage companies, primarily in the life sciences sector, through IPOs, corporate rebranding and commercialization. As a senior adviser, Carolin works closely with executives and board members to strengthen their public presence and help ensure their media engagements deliver strategic value.

Carolin holds a master’s degree in economic history from Stockholm University.


Experience

Corporate Reputation and Positioning

• Developed a thought leadership program for a global pharmaceutical company in a leading therapy area. The program included stakeholder engagement across policy advocacy, media campaigns and broader activation efforts, resulting in increased platform visibility, new media relationships and a broader stakeholder network.

• Following an acquisition and reorganization, supported a European pharmaceutical company in preparing and executing communications related to the reorganization by developing communications materials, preparing and coaching the management team, and managing internal and external communications.

• Supported numerous publicly listed life sciences companies in developing and elevating their equity stories, identifying strategic and tactical opportunities beyond regulatory milestones to strengthen positioning and deepen investor engagement.

Science and Innovation Communications

• Developed narratives that translated complex scientific material into clear, compelling stories for broader audiences, resulting in media interviews and keynote speaking opportunities at business conferences.

Crisis Management and Preparedness

• Led issues and crisis preparedness work, including crisis communications frameworks, leadership training and governance structures, for several major corporations.

• Led issues and crisis communications across topics including regulatory change, product recalls, side effects, supply chain disruptions and shortages, reorganizations and other reputational risks.
