During his time as a journalist, Franz worked as chief national security and governmental affairs correspondent for Europe’s largest tabloid BILD and as politics editor for the daily newspaper DIE WELT.
Before joining Kekst CNC, Franz worked as Head of Corporate Communications, Sustainability and Public Affairs for a large family-owned German holding company in North Rhine-Westphalia. As an in-house consultant Franz advised various affiliated subsidiaries of that holding on the implementation of sustainability strategies, media relations and on public affairs.
Franz has graduated from Goldsmiths’ College, University of London with a B.A. (hons) in Economics, Politics and Public Policy and holds a Master of Arts as well as a DPhil in Social and Political Thought from the University of Sussex at Brighton.
