Cathryn supports clients in communicating their business challenges and transformative moments. This entails developing and implementing communications strategies around crises, transactions, and litigation that are responsive to the needs of a range of stakeholders, including investor and media relations, internal communications, and public affairs.
She has significant transaction experience, supporting transactions in the healthcare, specialty chemicals, agriculture, medical devices, and life sciences industries, including two of the most significant mergers in the past few years. Her crisis communications experiences spans cybersecurity incidents, regulatory investigations, environmental accidents, and workplace accidents, and she has provided media relations support on high-profile litigation matters, including counsel related to sexual harassment lawsuits in the #MeToo era.
Cathryn also supports a number of alternative investment firms on transactional matters, investor initiatives, fundraising, corporate positioning, and media relations. Additionally, she has experience in corporate positioning and financial communications for a number of public companies.
Prior to joining Kekst CNC, Cathryn was an assistant editor of economics and finance at Oxford University Press, where she worked with academics, private and public sector economists, and finance professionals.
